Rachelle (she/they) learned to speak a little Japanese and ate plenty of sushi while living in Japan for three years. She can sometimes be spotted roller skating around the lakes.

Amanda Hatling

Director

Amanda (she/her) is a plant enthusiast. She has 55 house plants in her home and hopes to get more! Amanda also loves to travel anywhere she can practice her Spanish language skills. Argentina is a favorite destination. When not working, Amanda is most likely running with her dog, Fiddler.

Renee (she/her) has seen Antarctic glaciers and hopes to go back, even if it means going through the Drake Passage again.

Dr. Courtney Mangan

Occupational Therapist, Specializing in Neurodivergence

Courtney (she/her) loves to travel and has visited 11 countries, including an unforgettable experience training with Brazil’s first paid women’s professional soccer team. She enjoys being outdoors year-round and is a devoted Minnesota State Fair fan who looks forward to attending the Great Minnesota Get-Together every year.


  • 6 years of experience as an occupational therapist specializing in neurodivergent populations
  • Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, Creighton University 2019
  • Former provider at Children’s Minnesota with 3 years of experience supporting neurodivergent and medically complex populations, including ASD, ADHD, oncology, and brain injury.

Ashley Franco

Program Development Manager, Executive Function Coach

Ashley (she/her) is an animal lover with three cats and a passion for gardening, both indoors through hydroponics, and outdoors in the dirt! A proud nerd, Ashley met her husband playing an online video game, and together they share a love for board games, science fiction shows, and cozy book nights. She is a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Southwest Minnesota State University, with plans to earn a Master’s in Counseling and Psychological Services to become a mental health therapist.

Alandra (she/her) feels most at home under the open sky. She loves hiking, camping beneath the stars, and soaking in the beauty of nature. When she is indoors, she enjoys baking treats for her family, diving into a good book, or puzzling her way through a challenging crossword.

Caleb Brindley

Executive Function Coach

Caleb (he/him) enjoys the thrill of bouldering and is one of 13 siblings, making for a lively family life. He also loves camping and, in the summer, can often be found getting his hands dirty in the garden.

Damian Johnson

Damian (they/them), a Twin Cities native, is a self-proclaimed giant word nerd with a favorite book that’s not quite what you’d expect—the dictionary! They thrive on learning new games, especially those with unique, homemade rules. Their passion for words and creativity make them a delightful addition to our team.

Irene Bensus Buhl

Lead Executive Function Coach

Irene (she/her) has a passion for travel, having visited six countries, including the beautiful South Africa. She spent four years living in Peru, enjoying time with family, delicious food, and picturesque sites. Irene comes from a large family, with 21 first cousins and many more extended relatives.

Hope (she/her) is an avid reader and a member of two book clubs! She enjoys diving into abstract ideas and engaging in thoughtful discussions. Hope has a deep passion for psychology, constantly seeking to learn more about the brain and human behavior.
